Codex app - handling of untracked files

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

Version 260205.1301 (554)

What subscription do you have?

Business

What issue are you seeing?

My project has thousands of untracked files.
Once Codex made changes (~20 files) I go to the diff panel -- but it's hard to unusable:

  1. The tree panel lists thousands of files,
  2. The Diff panel shows a message up top: "Large diff detected — showing one file at a time."
  3. In the end I have to switch back to VS Code to comfortably review the changes.

Please add a button to hide untracked files, or make it a selection (like vs code's git.untrackedChanges): mixed, separate, hidden

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. In your existing repo create 2,000 untracked files,
  2. Have Codex touch 2 files,
  3. Access the Diff panel

What is the expected behavior?

The Diff panel should allow seeing just the changes made by Codex
