Audio transcriptions sent to wrong thread

When recording a long audio message (≈2–3 minutes), if the user taps Send and quickly navigates to another thread before the transcription finishes, the audio message is delivered into the newly opened thread instead of the thread where it was recorded.
Steps to reproduce
Open Thread A.
Record an audio message for ~2–3 minutes.
Tap Send.
Immediately navigate to Thread B (before the audio finishes uploading/sending).
Wait for the audio to complete sending.
Actual result
The audio message appears/sends in Thread B (the currently active thread at the moment the send completes).

This happens in the codex app MacOS. 3/3 times in my testing
