What version of Codex is running?

0.1.2505172129

Which model were you using?

codex-mini

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 24.5.0 arm64 arm

What steps can reproduce the bug?

codex --history prints concise items like 5/23/25, 5:46 PM · 1 msgs/0 tools · explain this cod.

The number of tools mentioned (0) doesn't match the number of tools actually called.

Behavior noticed with codex-mini model. Works fine with gpt-4-1* and openrouter/anthropic/claude*.

What is the expected behavior?

The number of tool calls displayed in codex --history should match the actual number of tools called.

What do you see instead?

_No response_
