What issue are you seeing?
After updating the app for 5.3 Codex. The UI becomes unresponsive for any action, and it periodically resets (crash), which it will be responsive for 1 second, and then unresponsive and then crash.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
By just opening the app.
What is the expected behavior?
It should be responsive and not crash

Hey, I have been posting some updates on my investigation here: https://github.com/openai/codex/issues/10996, which seems to be a similar issue.
I had the same issue. I disabled this by giving Codex full disk access, but intermittent crashes continue. I tried using the Codex app to identify the problem, did a clean reinstall, and reset preferences, but nothing helps.
I'm going to close this in favor of #10996
