Context compactization forgets current mission

What issue are you seeing?

when auto compact occurs, instead of completing the task(s) in the current message it's working on, it starts trying to re-accomplish already accompished tasks earlier in the chat. making it even harder to get done with out more compactization (or running out of credits due to this).

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Ask consecutive tasks in the same thread until compactization occurs. This did not happen in the VSCode extension, only after starting using the app. Using model GPT-5.2 High, or GPT-5.1-Codex-Mini on high.
