What issue are you seeing?

Blurb states "Search and pull from shared sites and OneDrive" but all it seems to be able to do is search, not pull from.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Connect the SharePoint connector / app in codex CLI. Ask it to download a file.

What is the expected behavior?

Files downloads.

Additional information

The agent cheated in my case and copied a local file into the folder. Bad agent!

Can you provide details about how you're configuring the SharePoint connector? The relevant sections of your config.toml file would be useful (redact any details that you don't want public).

I will respond properly when I am back at my computer tomorrow. I just used the standard settings imported from ChatGPT.com. The SharePoint app/connector there also doesn't seem to be able to download files.

OK, thanks. Reopening the issue.

OK I think this is just a poor description and the actual behaviour of the app/connector is not to download files (it only lists file search here). Where is the right place to request that this app be altered to also allow downloads?

We can change this to a feature request rather than a bug report.

This feature request hasn't received enough upvotes, so I'm closing it.
