Please allow us to add a custom personality in something like ~/.codex/personalities` that we can then choose from, just some custom instructions would be great.

According to what I found out today by asking codex to read codex source, - the personality prompt is disabled when you specify a custom system prompt through config in codex, so you can copy the system prompt and the personality prompt, and merge them into one system prompt and customize it to your liking. That's what I'm currently experimenting with.
I tried forcing a personality override to some degree of success, but because I also want to customize the system prompt, I had to undo that approach
I've also had success with a
experimental_instructions_fileand a custom prompt along with a## Personalityblock, seems to adhere!
