VS Code Approval Request breaks the user experience

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

What issue are you seeing?

While codex is working, the chat's text box tells me to write follow-up questions.

The problem is that if I try to do that and an approval confirmation dialog pops up, the chat box disappears mid-sentence and is replaced by the approval confirmation dialog.

Please improve the user experience by having the approval confirmation dialog appear above the chat box instead of replacing it.

If the problem is that while waiting for approval you don't want a new prompt sent to codex then block the send feature and let me continue typing the next prompt without breaking my flow.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Typing continuously until an approval confirmation request pops up.

What is the expected behavior?

Let me continue typing.
