Group skills by scope in the Skills page

What feature would you like to see?

In the Codex macOS app, the Skills page currently displays all skills in a flat grid. It would be much more useful to group skills by their scope (have headers for each scope):

  1. System — built-in skills provided by Codex (e.g., Skill Creator)
  2. User — global skills installed at the user level (e.g., ~/.claude/skills/)
  3. Project — project-level skills scoped to the current working directory

This grouping would make it easier to understand where each skill comes from, manage overrides, and quickly find the right skill.

Additional information

  • Codex version: codex-cli 0.99.0
  • Platform: macOS Tahoe v26.2
