The GPT-5-3-codex disappeared from the model list in the app, including the new sparx. It is now showing "custom" but the 5.3 codex is not listed. It was showing yesterday and been keeping my app up-to-date so this issue just came with this version.

What steps can reproduce the bug?
Open App, model is not listed.
What is the expected behavior?
Those models are listed as well.

It disappeared for me yesterday as well but it’s back now

@ehendrix23, did the selection return for you? If not, try deleting your
~/.codex/modesl_cache.jsonfile and then restart the app.It had not returned however deleting
~/.codex/models_cache.jsonand restarting app worked.Thx!
deleted and restarted and it's still missing for me.

@melloc01, can you confirm that you're signed in with your ChatGPT subscription (as opposed to API key)? If so, please delete your models_cache.json again, then restart the app and issue a simple prompt, then use
/feedbackto upload your logs and post your thread ID here. I can then take a look at your logs and see if I can identify the problem.Hello, I am logged with my ChatGPT account, I don't have any API keys.

I think this might have happened when I installed the CLI earlier today, not sure.

I'm assumning it had to do with the install of the codex CLI. I uninstalled it as well.
Why is this thread closed? Issue still happening.
Same issue for me today; was showing yesterday, stopped today. Logout/login resolved it

GPT 5.3 is losing badly to Opus 4.6, so they are probably restructuring the model.
Having the same issue. Happened a few days ago and now today. Removing
