What feature would you like to see?
With the newly released GPT-5.3-Codex-Spark model. I would love to see the IDE Extension upgraded to support inline "tab" completion style editing within the file.
That's it, I believe that it would not only be faster that any existing intellisense or copilot features of VSCode but it would be much more accurate.
I don't even know if this is possible without a fork of VSCode but it would be really quite nice.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it's unlikely that we'd implement this feature. Codex is designed to be an autonomous coding agent, not a tool that helps users write code manually the "old school" way.
Haha, I understand the sentiment and vision. I have my rebuttals (we're not at full autonomy yet - except the big 3 languages and even then... etc.) but they're likely tone def on a 5yr timeline. Alas, keep up the good work - eventually you and I won't even be here anymore it'll be the bots anyway ;).
