Summary

When multiple images/files are attached in the Codex App composer, removing them one-by-one is tedious. Please add a bulk removal option (e.g., “Clear all attachments” / multi-select remove) to improve workflow speed and reduce mis-sends.

Problem / Motivation

I often attach multiple files as context. If I realize I attached the wrong batch, there is currently no quick way to remove them all at once; I must delete each attachment individually. This is especially painful when I attach 10 items or frequently iterate.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Codex App and start a new thread (or any thread).
2. Paste or attach multiple images/files (e.g., 5+).
3. Decide to remove all attachments (wrong files / too many / want to re-attach).
4. Observe: attachments can only be removed one-by-one, requiring many clicks.

Expected behavior

Provide a fast, discoverable bulk action such as:

• A “Clear all” button near the attachment list, OR
• Multi-select (checkboxes + Remove), OR
• A context menu action “Remove all attachments”.

Proposed UX details

• Show “Clear all” when attachment count >= 2
• Confirmation dialog: “Remove all attachments?” (optional)
• Provide Undo for a short window (nice-to-have)
• Keep individual remove controls as-is

Why this matters

• Saves time and reduces friction in multi-modal workflows
• Prevents accidental sending of unwanted/incorrect attachments
• Aligns with common patterns in chat/compose UIs

Acceptance criteria

• Can remove all current composer attachments in a single action
• Works for mixed attachment types (images + files)
• Does not require clearing typed text in the composer
• Keyboard / accessibility-friendly (optional but appreciated)
