Summary
Please consider documenting agents.max_threads (default/min/value semantics) in official configuration docs.
Why
This is a practical knob for multi-agent concurrency tuning, but it is not obvious to users unless they inspect source.
Prior PR context
I attempted an in-repo docs update in PR #12534, and understand docs now live in the official docs source and contribution policy is invitation-only.

This is documented in the config reference, sample config, and the multi-agents docs page. Let me know if you think there's something missing or unclear.
Could the docs list the default, minimum, and maximum values? I'd be interested in raising it. But, even though OpenAI hasn't been doing this AFAIK, seeing its competitors ban some of their users for excessive usage under some situations they weren't given specific and explicit warning about, I'd be really worried to try going higher with this.
If you're interested in additional details about specific config keys such as min, max and default values imposed by the harness, I recommend cloning the repo and asking codex.
If you use too many concurrent subagent threads, you may trigger a "429 Too Many Requests" error on the server side.
