This feature is present in Claude Code.
If I modify a file after it was last read by the agent, then agent has to re-read it before doing any write to it.
Any write to it returns with an error asking the agent to re-read it.

Oops, didn't mean to close it. This isn't a complete duplicate, so it's fine to leave both open.
