Thanks for the bug report. I see your thread ID in our db, but it looks like you opted not to upload your logs or session details — or they failed to upload for some reason. So I don't have many details to go on here.

Was this a one-time issue, or are you still experiencing it? If you can repro, please try to use /feedback again and upload your logs and session details and post the thread ID here (if it's different than the thread ID you already posted).

This is the behavior I'd expect if you have network connectivity issues. Are you using a VPN, proxy, or any other network settings that could contribute to connectivity problems?

Closing because there is not enough information to diagnose.

I've experienced the similar problem after upgrading to "Version 26.228.1430 (760)"
feedback: 019ca9f2-8a1b-7ca1-8be8-61d1cd612ac1

this happens when starting new thread only in the first prompt.

what i tried to do;

  1. quit app
  2. rm -rf ~/.codex
  3. opening the app again
  4. sign in
  5. choose the team subscription
  6. no mcp's or any other config (everything default)
  7. add project
  8. start new thread
  9. same problem
