Correct Test…
1… Open SF Symbols application (standard on macOS)
2… Paste into top right Search field the symbol itself or the name "arrow.left.and.right".
3… Right-click that symbol and choose "Copy Symbol"
4… Paste it into the input text view of the Codex app in macOS.
5… Symbol should appear intact the same as it appears in the SF Symbols app, or in a Finder filename for example. It's standard on macOS.
BUG NOW…
Repeat steps 1…4.
5… Symbol is replaced by trash "?" symbol so you cannot distinguish it or any SF Symbol pasted in your prompt when you need it in your instructions, like when you say put SF Symbol "" in your UI. You must replace it by a quote of the text name for that symbol.
