mid-session despite being well under my limits.

Con confirm that I have also just started to see this in the last few minutes. No issues reported on https://status.openai.com/ yet.
I'm getting the same error, for the third time now:

The error just resolved itself now
It seems to have been right at the instant when the weekly quota has reset
I am still having the same issue.
Weekly quotas reset individually, seems like a coincidence. 429 errors being experienced by a large number of users it seems.
Happening here, too. 64% 5hr usage remaining, 88% weekly usage remaining, yet getting 429 errors.

I can confirm the same issue happened today on my side as well. Seems like OpenAI's throttler is misaligned? I did not increase my requests/min average in comparison to the last 14 days while it happened.

Asked Codex to create a
DESCRIPTION.mdfor code and it stopped with 429 error in the middle.Tried in a new thread - same issue.
Limits are not exceeded.
I'm guessing it's a server side thing but FWIW, I usually notice rate limit issues if i have a lot of subagents running. It's worth checking what the
agents.max_threadsconfig is set at.Resolved for me now.
This appears to have been a short-lived server-side issue. It appears to be mitigated.

maybe it is not correlated, but after I suffered from this issue yesterday, this morning my weekly usage went from ~90% to ~30% with rather limited use.
