codex opening terminal wont stop/terminate

What platform is your computer?
Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26100.0 x64
What issue are you seeing?
codex's terminal keep running at all times, cannot be stopped using stop button, keeps going into infinite loop when command throws an error.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Make codex run a command, if the command is wrong/throws an error, it will iterate on infinity and wont be stopped without restarting IDE/extension.
What is the expected behavior?
When you press at stop button, it should stop running the command
