I swap between spark and normal a lot. Would love to have a shortcut to do it over going through the menus

Linking the broader companion issue here: #14356.

This ticket nails the need for a shortcut, but the surrounding UX also seems to want:

a dedicated reasoning-depth hotkey, not only model switching
a quickly readable non-semantic indicator like [◉···] [◉◉··] [◉◉◉·] [◉◉◉◉]
explicit staging semantics so changing model/depth while a prompt is already running only affects the next turn

That last part matters a lot if Codex ever supports a smooth adjust -> abort -> resume flow without retyping.
