What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
codex-cli 0.107.0
What subscription do you have?
Pro
What platform is your computer?
Linux
What issue are you seeing?
You have an issue with limit usage, if you reset the week the usage shall be following also. This is first time I am seeing this bug and will be nice if it get fixed as it's impossible to use 20% for couple of hours and mostly when our limit is x2
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Just validate the limit from March 4th and you will see the usage seems high
What is the expected behavior?
Ensure if you do reset of week limit end date is to calculate properly the usage limit to not get lower usage and thanks for your hard work!!!

When we reset limits (as we did yesterday due to a bug), the next time you use Codex, you'll see a new date established for both the five-hour and seven-day limits, and both should have the "available usage" set to 100%. Is that not what you're seeing?
My usage chart looks like this
<img width="396" height="157" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/b0a6c51a-c266-4fa0-b8ec-295691401ef5" />
The token counts according to the session data are claiming that yesterday I used 240,000,000 output tokens, nearly half of everything I have ever used in the past 80 days. That is nearly 2 orders of magnitude higher than my most intense days.
600,000 tool calls? An intense day is maybe 20,000. Something is very messed up. I think briefly trying out the Codex Windows app yesterday broke something.
To help us investigate this further, could I get your user ID? Go to https://chatgpt.com/codex, click on icon in the upper right corner to display the profile menu, then click on the top menu item. This will copy your user ID to the clipboard. It should look like "user-". Post that below so we can directly look up your account details.
no the weekly usage limit did not reset in my case it's showing the usage before the start date of the new limit reset. Thanks again for taking time to review that!!!

user-y3YtfijmyL1UgfuclpSvQFzKI also think i have the same issue where my weekly usage limit didnt reset right and or my usage is way more than it should<img width="1092" height="807" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/f95fd1e7-0240-411e-9aef-7b258eaba80f" />
30 month range. Never got close to even 50% of weekly usage within this time but now already at 29% and it resets in 5 days?

We're using #13568 to track this issue.
Same for me. They apparently did two resets this week, and I haven't got a single one of them.
Having the same issue here. My reset limit jumped exactly as you described - from March 9 to 11. I'm assuming this is because my weekly usage jumped incorrectly, too.

Mine jumped from my usual 16th to 18th now. Very annoying since I've purchased extra credits after my usage capped last week.
