Create worktree in the same WSL environment when running the agent in WSL in Codex App for Windows

What variant of Codex are you using?

App

What feature would you like to see?

I use the Codex App with Windows Subsystem for Linux, the terminal integrated with WSL, because I believe Codex runs better and works better with the Linux terminal. It still makes a lot of mistakes using the native Windows terminal. My project folders are all in WSL. When I start a worktree, the expectation would be to create a worktree within WSL, using the WSL filesystem, but the Codex App creates it within Windows, using the Windows filesystem. But this slows down Codex a lot, because I'm using Subsystem for Linux, but with the project inside Windows. I tried to do a workaround, but it didn't work.
