What issue are you seeing?
I think there may be a bug in quota accounting.
On March 8, 2026, I used Codex on a relatively small refactor in a local repo: mostly moving Python service files
from summarizer/ to services/ai, updating imports, Docker paths, and docs. The session consumed about 4% of my
weekly quota.
That seems far too high for the amount of work done. Since limits are currently doubled, this suggests it would have
counted as roughly 8% of the normal weekly quota, which feels clearly off.
Could you check whether quota usage is being overcounted for:
- file-move / refactor-heavy sessions
- agent/sub-agent usage
- long tool-call chains during repo-local work
If useful, I can provide the approximate timestamp, repo context, and task summary.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
