Reading and Copying transcripts

What feature would you like to see?

It's really annoying that I am reading the transcript when suddenly:

1. the entire chat is brought back to the current time because it's asking a question or some other reason.
2. the item I'm reading minimises making me hunt for the spot that I was just reading.

There should also be a way to open up all collapsed items like I can do with Claude Code. Having to manually open up every single "worked for" item to find my place is really annoying and also interferes with me to copy Codex's thought process. A way to search the transcript would also be beneficial.

Not having this hampers my workflow as I don't trust Codex (or any other AI for that matter) because they go off onto tangents, blind allies or just do the wrong thing.

Being able to read the transcripts can tell me if the AI is doing what I want it to do. Because, sometimes it gets something working, but for totally the wrong expected reasons, resulting in a major rewrite down the line.
