0.112.0

What subscription do you have?

enterprise

Which model were you using?

N/A

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 25.3.0 arm64 arm

What terminal emulator and version are you using (if applicable)?

iterm2, Terminal.app, Ghostty

What issue are you seeing?

Today after I run codex, the app exits immediately with this message :

Error loading configuration: failed to load your workspace-managed config

My organization doesn't host a central codex config, so I'm not sure what this message could be referring to.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Launch codex after installing the latest codex version

What is the expected behavior?

App should start

Additional information

I installed Codex via brew, and I also have the Codex desktop app.

I originally just had this issue on version 0.103.0 . I uninstall/reinstalled just in case to see if it helps (it did not).

I thought https://github.com/openai/codex/issues/2928 looked similar, but deleting the toml file in my ~/.codex didn't help.

Update: this message appears when you have been logged out ( based on the source code / using codex login fixed it)

Logging in again resolved the issue

To elaborate on that: I just had to rerun codex login to OAuth in. Not a big deal, but the message could be clearer.
