It appears with any prompt in Codex Chat Window.

Just edit the config.toml file of codex and add this in the first line:

model = "gpt-5.2-codex"

This is not a solution. As a paid user I want to use 5.3-codex.

Well, I'm afraid to tell you that according OpenAI, we are not paying enough to be able to use that model.

According to OpenAI's codex pricing page Plus plan includes 5.3-codex and 5.4
