What issue are you seeing?

Codex sometimes generates conversation titles with extra symbols like 」} appended to the title. This happens even when the first prompt is plain natural language and does not contain those characters. It looks like a title generation or text cleanup/rendering bug rather than intended UI behavior.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. Start a new Codex conversation.
  1. Send a plain natural-language prompt in Chinese.
  1. Wait for the title to be auto-generated.
  1. Look at the conversation title in the sidebar.
  1. Notice that stray symbols like 」} sometimes appear in the title.

What is the expected behavior?

clean auto-generated titles
