It seems that account tier or limits metadata is not properly resolved or returned after successful login.
This makes Codex CLI unusable in practice, as prompts remain stuck in "thinking" and never complete.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

The issue occurs consistently after login and can be reproduced in every new session.

What is the expected behavior?

at least the /status will show:
│ Account: me@mymail.com (Plus)
