What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.306.11636

What subscription do you have?

Plus

What platform is your computer?

Windows 10 (fully patched)

What issue are you seeing?

For some reason, each time I run codex, the terminal path is reset with a powershell prefix like this:
<img width="595" height="202" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/914eee72-085b-4b43-8c77-26c9d3b5e631" />

Which then prevents certain tools from working, e.g. flutter in the screenshot above.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. Run codex on a project from a local folder.
  2. Open terminal window.

What is the expected behavior?

Start with the real project's path.
