What issue are you seeing?

after you call compact and if you q a message during the compaction -> your message does not get executed after compaction finishes. but if you type a message after compaction finish your message get executed

What steps can reproduce the bug?

call compact on a long conversation and instantly q a message after. you will see thinking getting stuck
