Codex App on Windows intermittently redirects active threads to the "New Thread" page

What issue are you seeing?

When I use the Codex App on Windows and open a new thread, the app intermittently jumps back to the "Create New Thread" page every few seconds.
This happens not only during normal chatting, but also while the thread is actively running Computer Use. Because of this, Computer Use keeps seeing the Codex "New Thread" page instead of staying on the current task screen, which makes the feature unusable.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. Open the Codex App on Windows.
2. Create and enter a new thread.
3. Start using the thread normally, or start a Computer Use task.
4. Wait a few seconds.
5. The app intermittently redirects to the "Create New Thread" page.

What is the expected behavior?

The app should stay on the currently opened thread and should not navigate away unless I explicitly create a new thread.

Additional information

I have already tried turning off my VPN and reinstalling the Codex App, but the issue still persists.
