Why do I need to provide biometric data via Persona to use Codex?

What steps can reproduce the bug?

install codex, login (successful, personal). run simple project review prompt:
Error about organization validation - Personal Org/Default Project.
Go to validation, click on validate, goes to persona.

I dont have a problem validating using github, keybase or any number of verification tools, I draw the line at providing biometric data.

So what gives? The Claude onboarding ux is so much smoother.
