When I used the GPT-5.4 model and asked about the offline knowledge cutoff date, it showed June 2024, but that seems to be the training date of the GPT-5.2-codex model. Why is that?

From your logs, I can tell that you were not redirected. The responses came from gpt-5.4. The cutoff date is not an accurate way to tell which model you're using because it is influenced by the system prompt.
Why is this closed? GPT-5.4 in the Codex CLI have no information about any events that happened in 2025. I spent $10 on the API just to test this, and GPT-5.4 could not answer a single question about 2025.
