Codex Windows app and IDE extensions do not use ClearType on Windows, resulting in blurry, hard to read text

What issue are you seeing?

Neither Codex standalone app acquired through Microsoft Store nor Codex VSCode extension render fonts using ClearType on Windows. This makes the font on Windows appear blurry and hard to read:

The screenshot below shows the text from chatgpt.com in the chrome browser on the right compared to text rendered by Codex.exe on the left.

By the absence of color fringing around the text, it's easy to tell Codex doesn't use ClearType.

The next screenshot compares response from Codex 5.4 through Github Copilot on the right half of the screenshot vs response from Codex 5.4 using Codex VSCode extension on the left.

Once again, Codex extension does not use ClearType for font rendering.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. Open Codex Windows app and attempt to read the font.

What is the expected behavior?

The font uses ClearType, so it's sharp, not blurry on Windows.
