What is the issue?
The documentation for adding MCP servers is lacking to say the least. Haven't been able to get any standalone official MCPs to work (like context7) or custom stdio servers that work simply fine in claude code and gemini cli. What kind of flags ~/.codex/config.toml configuration is needed for MCP servers to work? Support for HTTP servers would be welcome.

same issue I have no idea how to make it work lol
I think the issue might be we're trying to use it on the node codex-cli and it's only implemented for now on the rust one. will report back after trying.
cursor had to debug for a while to figure it out lol

\also be sure to add a provider/model in your config.toml
@jruokola @agustif: if you (re-)install via
npm, you should now have v0.2.0, which is the Rust version. I updated the installation instructions as part of https://github.com/openai/codex/pull/1475.
