I'm getting the same errors, first Stream disconnected before completion: IO error: Connection reset by peer (os error 54), then Stream disconnected before completion: Transport error: network error: error decoding response body.

I found that with cache messages like hi, Hello and, what model are you works. The uncached messages(Specific messages) doesn't seem to work, but sometimes it would retry four times and work on the fifth one.
I have no VPNs or proxies, and this worked two days ago. Also happens on a brand new thread.
I've tried logging in and out, using bun, brew, the codex app, downgrading. Nothing helps. Happens immediately, not after waiting a long time. The ten retries happens within twenty seconds, and errors out.
I also encountered it, and it kept reporting errors like this and could not be used normally.

Well, The problem arises with me
This is not a network issue. It was working like 30 minutes ago. Same network, same connection.
Suddenly it gave
stream disconnected before completionThe error message is not self-explanatory. What's the request, what's the response?
i tried deleting the .codex folder but it did not resolve this sudden issue , status.opoenai is green (but it should be reflecting availability issues)

This started happening a few weeks ago and has made the app almost unusable. I keep seeing Reconnectin... loops and have to close the app and reopen it or disable/enable wifi to get it to work. But it only works for a short while before giving the same errors again.
Is this possibly related to the websocket connection? Is there a way to revert to the previous HTTP protocol while these issues are fixed?
