Codex Web weekly reset anchor moved from Monday to Wednesday despite continuous daily usage

The same page shows separate buckets for GPT-5.3-Codex-Spark and Code Review.

What platform is your computer?

macOS 10.15.7, Chrome 145

What issue are you seeing?

The Codex Web usage dashboard appears to move the weekly reset anchor for the general "Balance" / "Weekly usage limit" bucket even though I use Codex every day.

On Codex -> Settings -> Usage, I currently see:

• Balance -> 5-hour usage limit: 99% remaining
• Balance -> Weekly usage limit: 0% remaining
• Reset: Mar 18, 2026 at 14:01
• GPT-5.3-Codex-Spark weekly: 100% remaining
• Code review: 100% remaining
• Credits remaining: 0

This weekly reset used to align with Monday for me, but it now shows Wednesday (Mar 18, 2026 14:01), even though I did not stop using Codex and the 30-day usage chart shows ongoing activity.

I understand the concept of a rolling 7-day window. The issue is that the dashboard does not explain which exact bucket or activity type controls the "Balance -> Weekly usage limit" reset timestamp, and the anchor appears to have moved despite continuous daily usage.

Because of that, the dashboard is either:

1. using undocumented bucket logic,
2. misreporting the reset anchor, or
3. showing a misleading timestamp for the wrong bucket.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. Use Codex regularly on a Pro account across multiple consecutive days.
2. Open Codex -> Settings -> Usage and note the reset date shown under "Balance -> Weekly usage limit".
3. Continue using Codex successfully on the following days.
4. Revisit the usage page later and observe that the reset date has moved forward to a different day/time even though usage was continuous.

What is the expected behavior?

One of these should be true:

• If the weekly reset is tied to a specific bucket or subset of activity, the dashboard should explicitly say which bucket/activity types affect that reset timestamp.
• If daily successful usage counts toward that bucket, the reset anchor should not appear to move in a way that contradicts continuous usage.
• If the current behavior is expected, the UI should explain the precise rule so the reset date is interpretable.

Right now, the dashboard makes it look like the weekly reset anchor can move without any visible explanation.

• I have never purchased extra credits.
• Credits remaining is 0.
• The 30-day usage chart shows ongoing activity.
• Support only provided a generic "rolling window" explanation, which does not explain why the anchor moved from Monday to Wednesday despite continuous daily usage.
• Possibly related to previous reports about variable weekly reset dates: #5999 and #7354.
