After updating VS Code to 1.111.0, the Codex/OpenAI sidebar icon disappeared.
Extension version: 26.311.21342
Rolling back to the previous extension version made the icon reappear.

This looks like a regression in the extension UI / activity bar registration.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

I can reproduce a regression with the VS Code extension.

After updating VS Code to 1.111.0, the Codex icon disappeared from the sidebar.
Installed extension version: 26.311.21342
Workaround: installing the previous extension version makes the icon reappear.

Please investigate whether 26.311.21342 introduced a regression in the sidebar/activity bar view registration.
