Can't start chat nor select model

What issue are you seeing?
When I open the app and try to select a model, it remains stuck on the current configuration. Even if I try choosing different models or thinking times, nothing changes and it always stays the same:

Also, if I try starting a conversation with this configuration, an "Error starting this conversation" will appear.

What steps can reproduce the bug?
Open app, try selecting model or thinking time, or trying to send a message.

I have the exact same issue

Check if you have errors in the .codex/config.toml file.
Settings -> Configuration -> see if any error notifications
Fixing that made it work again.
The fix by @hetoll worked for me. My old ollama configuration looks like it became incompatible
Thank you @hetoll , had an error also related to ollama, fixed it quickly and now it works well
