Mouse mode scrolling is not smooth

What platform is your computer?

What steps can reproduce the bug?

In the earlier versions, scrolling was just scrolling the terminal which was very smooth, now with the mouse mode, when I scroll, it scrolls without any "acceleration" and physics, it feels like skating on non-rounded wheels.

What is the expected behavior?

Scrolling is smooth like it was in the early versions.
