The install doc appears stale.\n\nI’m preparing a small PR for the repo-owned fixes (1 and 3). I’m leaving the official-docs-side Homebrew mismatch here for visibility because that change may need to happen outside this repo unless the repo wording is intentionally being updated instead.

I prepared a narrow docs fix for the repo-owned drift in this issue on a public fork branch:

This branch fixes two of the mismatches called out here:

docs/sandbox.md now points at the current sandbox / approvals page.
docs/install.md now says Windows 11 (native or via WSL2).

I intentionally kept this branch focused and did not include the unrelated Homebrew command mismatch from the same issue.

Validation:

Manual verification against the current Codex docs on developers.openai.com
./tools/argument-comment-lint/run.sh

I tried to open a PR, but GitHub rejected PR creation because openai/codex currently reports pull_request_creation_policy: collaborators_only. If a maintainer wants this as an invited PR, I can open it immediately from the branch above.

Here's what the fix covers:

1. docs/sandbox.md — wrong link

Current: https://developers.openai.com/codex/security (Codex Security product page)
Fixed: https://developers.openai.com/codex/sandbox (correct sandbox & approvals page)

2. docs/install.md — stale WSL2-only wording

Current: Windows 11 **via WSL2**
Fixed: Windows 11 (native Windows sandboxing is supported via codex-rs/windows-sandbox-rs/)
