connect to github dialog box keeps popping up

Hi, Codex Desktop keeps opening repeated “Connect to GitHub” dialogs when I add a project that is only a local Git repository. I do not want to grant GitHub access.
Version: Codex Desktop 0.115.0-alpha.27
Observed on: March 26, 2026
Repro steps:
- Remove the local repo from the project list.
- Quit and reopen Codex.
- No popup appears at that point.
- Click “Add new project” and add the same local Git repo again.
- Multiple “Connect to GitHub” dialogs start appearing.
Notes:
- The repo is local only.
- I do not see any GitHub/Connectors/Integrations settings in the app to turn this off.
- The popup appears specifically after adding the local Git repo as a project.
- This still happens after clearing local Codex state related to cloud/setup prompts.
Could you confirm whether this is a known issue and how to disable GitHub prompts for local repositories?
