Automations fail, archive themselves - totally useless
What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
26.324.21641.666.999.6969696969
What subscription do you have?
lol the app doesn't work and THIS is the only required field
What platform is your computer?
Mac M1
What issue are you seeing?
I've given you more information than the app is giving me. Suddenly this morning all my automations failed (likely due to new sandbox restrictions, automations can't reach the internet in any way while you have seemingly enabled this on Windows but not Mac despite the repeated issues being opened?).
It's not really a bug, it's a total collapse of the app's usefulness, and I think by design - chances are you'll close or ignore this and I'll just cancel anyways.
My automations were running fine, but now they can't reach the internet though they contain no scripts that do anything (randomly yesterday they decided to use CURL, without instruction, which was blocked). Now they are failing - and I can't even see why.
The app actively hides its failures. The chats are immediately archived, you can't retrieve them, diagnose. This is what I was paying for, you won't refund me, but actively are pushing multiple updates a day that remove basic features.
As a coding agent, it was "good enough" but I'm canceling, app promise is gone. [I changed my mind writing this, you can choose to ignore]. If the answer is that the history of those automations is buried somewhere on my machine and I should find them, diagnose them, then you've all missed the mark entirely.
I wanted to subscribe forever, but it doesn't work. It was silly enough I can't execute CURL through automations, seems really crazy you get to make that call for only Mac users.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Create an automation, run it, when it fails you'll only find it in the automation itself. You'll have no clue it ran, you can't see the history or why it failed, you're only left with the decision: Should I cancel this?
What is the expected behavior?
It should work like it did when you convinced me to pay you. But it loses features every week.
Additional information
This is a giant waste of time. The app doesn't work, I've spent more time on this form than anything and I'm 100% certain canceling is a good idea. App was great, now it's not, I'm done.
