What variant of Codex are you using?

[Window Title] Codex [Content] Codex 26.313.41514 © OpenAI [OK]

What feature would you like to see?

Hello,

I would like to suggest an enhancement for the Windows application.

Currently, messages do not display the date and time when they were sent. This makes it difficult to track conversations over time, especially when reviewing past messages or understanding the sequence of events.

Problem:
Without visible timestamps, it becomes hard to:

Follow the chronological order of messages
Know when a message was sent or received
Debug or reference past interactions accurately

Suggested improvement:
Please add a visible timestamp (including both date and time) to each message in the interface.

For example:

Display the timestamp next to each message (e.g., HH:MM or YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM)
Optionally show full details on hover or in a tooltip
Keep the format consistent with system or user locale settings

Expected benefit:
This would significantly improve usability, especially for users who rely on the app for longer or asynchronous conversations.

Thank you for considering this improvement!
