Unresponsive for 30s on start

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

Version 26.325.21211 (1255)

What subscription do you have?

Business

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 25.3.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?

When app starts, it is unresponsive for 30s. Tried 3 restarts, all same. It was fine before upgrading to Version 26.325.21211 (1255).

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Just start app.

What is the expected behavior?

I experience similar issues with the Mac app (Version 26.325.21211 (1255)).

When I try to share the bug, I also get an error.

A quick scroll through the logs shows a 403 when trying to sync the remote plugin

It seems to be problems with resuming threads as well (thread-id: 019d300a-8b70-7001-86e4-f61cc9f024d7)

~~A complete wipe of .codex and reinstalling the app fixed the problem for me~~

Wiping .codex and reinstalling the app only worked if you're in the first start-up of the app. If you close it and re-open it, the same problem appear.

Instead of deleting the entire .codex directory, just delete .codex/auth.json. Then reopen the app and login.

@mmartin101 deleting auth.json doesn't really help in my case, the app still is sluggish for like 5 mins after starting up
