What issue are you seeing?

It took very long time to create a git commit, longer than 3 hours. After I break it by pressing esc and require it to commit again, the commit is finished immediately.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

I am afraid it can not be reproduced. but I can meet this kind problem occasionnaly.

What is the expected behavior?

It should finish the git commit immediately.
