What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

Version 26.325.31654 (1272)

What subscription do you have?

ChatGPT Plus

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 25.4.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?

please do not bind my control F shortcut as finding content on the page. that's what command F is for. control F for macOS is to move the cursor forward (it's an Emacs shortcut supported globally by macOS, see https://jblevins.org/log/kbd)

What steps can reproduce the bug?

press control + F in a thread. it doesn’t move the cursor like in every other text input would, instead it opens the menu for searching. control + B (move the cursor backwards) and other shortcuts (A, E, N, P) works fine.

What is the expected behavior?

The cursor moved forward.
