Can the CLI be integrated into the Codex Desktop?

I really like the desktop management approach—it makes it more convenient and intuitive to manage work on multiple projects. I can easily switch between different workspaces instead of having multiple terminals open. However, I previously had some simple workflows that were automated through scripts, calling the CLI to complete tasks in batches.

With the desktop installation, there’s no way to properly expose the CLI to the terminal for execution. Of course, I could use both versions simultaneously. But if something can be done within a single tool, there’s no need to split it across two. I hope the development team will consider this request.
