What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.325.31654 (1272)

What subscription do you have?

Pro

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 25.4.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?

When attempting to submit feedback from within the Codex app, the submission always fails with the error message: "We couldn't submit your feedback, please try again in a moment."

The error persists indefinitely — it does not resolve even after waiting a significant amount of time. The issue occurs regardless of the state of the "Include current Codex session logs" toggle.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. Open the Codex app.
  2. Navigate to the feedback submission feature (e.g., via Help menu or in-app feedback button).
  3. Fill in the feedback text field.
  4. Optionally toggle "Include current Codex session logs" on or off.
  5. Click the submit/send button.
  6. Observe the error: "We couldn't submit your feedback, please try again in a moment."
  7. Wait any amount of time and retry — the error continues to appear.

What is the expected behavior?

Feedback is submitted successfully and a confirmation is shown to the user.

Additional information

The bug is reproducible consistently and is not affected by the "Include current Codex session logs" toggle state, suggesting it may be a network/endpoint issue or a bug in the feedback submission handler rather than a problem with log attachment.

This typically indicates a network connectivity issue — either a configuration issue on your system or network, a flaky network, or a block based on your geography (i.e. accessing from a country or region that is not supported by OpenAI).

Is Codex working for you generally? Can you enter a prompt and get back a response?

experiencing the same.

had a codex cli session inspect: " Yes. The direct failure is in the desktop log: the app does submit feedback/upload, and the submit comes back 429 Too
Many Requests. The error says the upload was dropped because of a Sentry quota or internal rate limit, which matches

i'm able to submit /feedback from the cli but not the codex app (Version 26.325.31654 (1272)), i tried selecting/deselecting “Include current Codex session logs” and that didn't seem to help.

Codex generally works fine. Region is US.

Submitting feedback via CLI works fine.

Happens to me too, happened in earlier versions, and still happens with the newest. Can confirm CLI works fine for me as well.
