Side bar becomes black, can't see anything but I can click everythings

erase codex app, resister, reboot, setup but side bar keep black

@jirangi until they fix - you can use dark mode to at least see the sidebar...
Same problem
Settings → Appearance → Turn off Translucent sidebar
Same issue - after install it defaults to "system" colors, rendering the items on the side bar in extremely low contrast against the black background.
Workaround confirmed: switching Codex app from “System theme” to “Dark theme” makes the left sidebar readable again on Windows. Also note that you can click-select with mouse to make the items in the sidebar readable and easier to navigate.
