What version of the IDE extension are you using?

Latest version (March 2026)

What subscription do you have?

ChatGPT Pro

Which IDE are you using?

Antigravity

What platform is your computer?

Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26200.0 x64

What issue are you seeing?

When a Codex chat is open inside Antigravity IDE, the window repeatedly steals focus even when I switch to another application (browser, terminal, etc).

The IDE automatically comes back to the foreground without user interaction.

This behavior continues continuously while the Codex chat is open.

The issue only occurs when a Codex chat session is active.

This makes it difficult to work in other applications while Codex is running.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. Open Antigravity IDE
  2. Open a Codex chat
  3. Switch to another application (browser, terminal, etc)
  4. Wait a few seconds

Antigravity IDE automatically comes back to the foreground.

The behavior repeats continuously while Codex chat is open.

What is the expected behavior?

Codex should run in the background without forcing Antigravity IDE to regain window focus.

The IDE should only come to the foreground when the user manually switches to it.
